Siren Inc. Defends Against Unauthorized Sale of Siren Brand in Japan

San Jose, Calif. -- June 1, 2007 -- Siren Inc., a Delaware Corporation founded in 2004, today announced that it is defending its brand in the face of an unauthorized proposed sale of Siren's Japanese interests by A-MAX Japan Technology Corporation (A-MAX Japan). While Siren and A-MAX Japan previously engaged in a licensing agreement whereby A-MAX Japan distributed Siren branded products, that license has been terminated and is no longer in effect. The proposed sale that A-MAX Japan intends to close with Reigncom Ltd. will not include the Siren brand, based on the fact that full ownership of Siren's brand lies with Siren, Inc.

Siren's legal counsel has notified both A-Max Japan and Reigncom, Ltd. that any proposed sale of Siren's Japanese assets must be halted, and failure to do so will result in whatever action Siren deems necessary, appropriate and prudent to protect Siren's brand.

"We are disappointed that our former partner - A-MAX Japan - took it upon themselves to propose a sale of property that is rightfully owned by Siren, Inc. without our prior knowledge or approval" said Kevin Brangan, co-founder of Siren. "We have full ownership of Siren's worldwide assets, and we will take aggressive legal action to ensure that those assets are protected. And regardless of any possible litigation, our global operations remain healthy and continue as usual."
